It is my distinct pleasure to welcome you to the best committee of BRAMUN this year! I am honored to be your Chair for the Human Rights Committee and look forward to facilitating some interesting debate. It is my hope that this committee will open your eyes to the most current and urgent human rights topics of our time, so come prepared to take stances, ask questions and create charged discussions. I am sure that you will be able to solve the world's most pressing issues in our four days together!

Hey Delegates,

My name is Rheno Formiga and I will be one of the Vice Chairs for the Human Rights Committee this year.

When working in the Human Rights Committee you will be tasked with solving issues of enormous importance. You will be essentially protecting the pillars of human decency and respect, the human rights agreed upon by the many nations of the world. When you compare the many human rights declarations written throughout many years and cultures you can see that they all agree on the same fundamental principles. This fact just serves to show the universality of our urge to act in defense of human dignity; how in the end we can all recognize that we owe respect to our fellow human beings. As a delegate in this committee, it is your higher duty to create and enforce policy that will further advance the cause of protecting Human Rights

I hope we will have some great results this year, and I look forward to chairing your discussions.

My name is Raissa Cariello, together with Victória Ribeiro. We represent Libya under the Human Rights Committee.
Our topic chosen was the Gaza Strip.
The delegation of Lybia supports the solution of the formation of a country in which Israelis and Palestinians would learn to live harmoniously together.
We would love your support and your thoughts about this idea.

We chose to focus on the topic of the Human Rights Violations Occurring in the Gaza Strip and the Criminal Accountability of UN Officials and Experts on Mission.
